He was performing his prayers. He looked beautiful in profile and I couldn’t stop staring at the man. I gave a silent thanks for the small pleasure and at the same time remembered watching another man in prayer years ago.

At the time, I didn’t dare to take more than just a peek because he might notice. I think he did anyway.
