Have finally found a buyer for the house. Looks like we are moving v. soon so will have to start cleaning up all my stuff.
How do I decide what to pack and what to leave behind? I’ve lived in the same place for almost 20 years and the thought of living in a new place is more unnerving than exciting.
Firstly, I love my room dearly, despite it being the hottest place in the house (in more than one way). And the mango and rambutan trees where I use to climb as a kid, the big lawn, and of course, the neighbourhood.
I know I’m just being sentimental but just like all the letters and cards and junks I’ve kept since I started school, it’s difficult to let go of the house.
Think will need to concentrate more on the new place – decor, colour scheme, garden concept, the works. But cost of building materials have just gone up…. *sigh* How la to have dream house like this?
