Out at sea

“If you meet someone you are attracted to, my god, you are lucky.
It might not work out, but you hope for the best to be with the person.
That’s the risk you’ll have to take and I think it is worth it.
If it doesn’t work out, then you still hope for the best with someone else.”

He says all the right things, this good friend of mine. I wish I really am living vicariously, I’d fly off to that private beach and not care about anything else.

However, I am me and I don’t just shed off my armour, leave my crypt and tear down my wall for anyone. Not anymore.
