Return of the Sailing Sunday

Being angsty will never help any situation but smart tactics will.  Which was how I managed to sail on Sunday and didn’t have to row in a long boat.

Kayak doubleI did have to go on a kayak first, though

Although it was just for 15-20 minutes or so, it felt wonderful to be on the water.

Strong wind, strong current and bright sunshine after a slight drizzle.  We had a clear view of the village over in Pangkor and were joined by kids in their Optimist boats.  A great day for sailing.  I got to handle the dinghy, with the boat house staff at the stern, at times laughing at my rusty skill, navigating the boat like a drunken sailor.  Whatever, I enjoyed myself and that’s what matters. 🙂
